NRNA Hong Kong Youth Forum successfully organized a blood donation campaign in 17th May 2026, demonstrating the strong commitment of the Nepali community in Hong Kong towards saving lives and supporting the local healthcare system. The initiative brought together community members, volunteers, and healthcare professionals in a meaningful effort to contribute to society through voluntary blood donation.
A Community United for a Life-Saving Cause
The campaign received an overwhelmingly positive response from the Nepali community, more than 50 generous donors participated in the blood donation drive, showing remarkable enthusiasm and social responsibility. The momentum continued on May 24, when an additional 20 donors successfully donated blood, further strengthening the campaign's impact.
Commitment to a Sustainable Blood Donation Culture
Going beyond a one-time charitable event, NRNA Hong Kong Youth Coordinator Mr. Manoj Gautam announced that blood donation campaigns will now be organized every three months throughout the year.
This quarterly initiative aims to ensure a reliable and continuous supply of blood to local blood banks while promoting a long-term culture of voluntary blood donation within the Nepali community. By establishing a regular schedule, NRNA Hong Kong Youth Forum hopes to encourage more community members to become active contributors to this life-saving mission.
