Leadership Transition & Commitment: During the event, the outgoing Executive Committee formally handed over organizational authority and crucial documents to the newly elected committee, entrusting them with the responsibility of leading the organization forward. This ceremony was not merely an administrative procedure but a gathering of key community stakeholders, reinforcing our collective commitment to the institution.

The Non-Resident Nepali Association, National Coordination Council, Hong Kong (NRNA HK) has successfully completed the handover of leadership for its 2025-2027 tenure. The "Handover, Welcome, and Farewell Ceremony," held in the distinguished presence of patrons, advisors, and members, showcased the organization's dedication to democratic principles and its continued mission to serve the Non-Resident Nepali community.
Focus on Unity and Governance: Speakers at the event placed special emphasis on unity, adherence to the constitution, and transparency. The Election Commissioner of the 10th General Convention described the NRNA campaign as a long journey, urging everyone not to lose sight of the main path despite having a common destination. The outgoing President pledged full support to the new committee, while the Chief Guest, NRNA ICC Women's Secretary Mrs. Radhika Gurung, suggested strengthening collaboration with the ICC.

The new leadership has outlined its primary priorities for the tenure, emphasizing the need to maintain unity, work for the welfare of the Nepali society in both Nepal and Hong Kong, and actively advocate for critical legal and social issues affecting Non-Resident Nepalis, such as citizenship rights and investment promotion.

In his commitment speech, the newly elected President stated, "We pledge to work according to the laws of Hong Kong and the NRNA constitution, making unity, cooperation, and good governance our guiding mantras."
Appreciation and Recognition: The ceremony also served as a platform to honor and express gratitude to the founders, past executive committees, and the outgoing team for their hard work and dedication since the establishment of NRNA Hong Kong. Special recognition was also given to individuals and media partners, including Mr. Bikram Gurung (Zap Studio), Mr. Ambu Gurung (Focus Out), and singer Mr. Siddharta Ale Magar, for their continuous support to the organization.
