The 213th Bhanu Jayanti, commemorating the birth anniversary of Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya, was successfully celebrated on 26 July 2026 (Sunday) at the office of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), Hong Kong.
Organized by NRNA Hong Kong, the celebration was held to honour the remarkable contribution of Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya to the development and promotion of the Nepali language and literature. His enduring contribution to Nepali literary heritage was remembered with respect and tribute during the programme.
The event witnessed the active participation of office bearers and members of the NRNA Hong Kong family. The gathering also highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting Nepali language, literature, culture, and identity among the Nepali community abroad.
The celebration provided an opportunity for the Nepali community in Hong Kong to come together in remembrance of the literary legacy of Bhanubhakta Acharya and to reaffirm the importance of passing Nepal's rich linguistic and cultural heritage on to future generations.
The programme concluded with a shared commitment to continue promoting Nepali language, literature, culture, and heritage within the diaspora community.
